Forehead and Eyebrow Lifting
The procedure can be performed using three different methods. The doctor will decide together with the patient which one of them will be the best matching to the patients need after the physical examination.
- Method: The Botox procedure. With a simple injection the creases on the forehead will be removed completely and the brows will be lifted for at least 1-2 mm. The disadvantage of this method is the need for a repeat every 4-5 months.
- Method: Endoscopic forehead lift. The procedure will be performed under general anesthesia and require small incisions on the hairline, which won't leave a significant scar. It will last up to 2 hours and the patient has to deal for a week with minimal swelling and bruises on the eyelids.
- Method: This is a much more difficult intervention. It is preferred, when the creases and wrinkles are extremely deep. An incision from one ear to the other on the hairline will be made on the hairline, the muscles causing the creases will be removed, and the incision will be closed afterwards. The patient will be under general anesthesia during the procedure. 12 days after the operation the stitches will be removed. Although the scar is minimal and hided under the hairline, it can be seen if one's looking after it. Swelling on the forehead and black eyes are a common problem and will last for at least 10 days.
